These exciting research opportunities are specific sections that can be taken in lieu of the corresponding traditional laboratory or lecture courses in diverse STEM fields, while still meeting degree requirements. Students generally work in teams conducting research and acquire field-specific techniques and skills as they become valuable members of the UTEP research community.
