National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN)
Mentoring is a key factor for a solid undergraduate education and opens the doors to endless possibilities when it comes to research. To help supplement FYRIS, UTEP would like to encourage all students to seek out mentoring both on campus and nationwide. Supported by the National Institutes of Health, the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) provides mentoring, networking, mentor-training and professional development for students and faculty across the nation. NRMN is a network of professionals committed to support individuals from diverse backgrounds who are pursuing biomedical, behavioral, clinical, and social science research careers (collectively termed biomedical research careers) by facilitating mentoring relationships, as well as providing professional development opportunities during all career stages.
